emco GPR là thiết bị kiểm tra độ mịn theo phương pháp Bekk cho giấy với khả năng tự động bù trừ áp suất không khí.

Độ mịn hoặc độ thô là một tính chất bề mặt quan trọng của giấy, bìa và thùng carton. Chất lượng cấu trúc bề mặt có ảnh hưởng lớn đến khả năng in ấn và bất kỳ hình thức phủ lớp nào. Độ mịn Bekk là một phương pháp được sử dụng rộng rãi trong ngành công nghiệp giấy dựa trên dòng khí. Càng chậm khí chảy giữa bề mặt giấy và mặt phẳng lý tưởng, độ mịn càng cao, được biểu thị bằng giây độ mịn Bekk. Hình dạng, tổng thể tích cũng như sự phân bố của các lỗ hổng ở bề mặt tiếp xúc quyết định đến độ mịn.

Khác với phương pháp PPS và Bendtsen, phương pháp Bekk kiểm tra một khu vực giấy đại diện có diện tích khoảng 10 cm².
