ISO 1518 《Sơn và vecni -- Xác định khả năng chống trầy xước》chỉ định phương pháp thử để xác định trong các điều kiện xác định điện trở của một lớp phủ đơn lẻ hoặc hệ thống sơn đa lớp sơn, vecni hoặc sản phẩm liên quan để thâm nhập bằng cách cào bằng bút cảm ứng xước được nạp với tải trọng xác định. - Máy kiểm tra độ trầy xước màng sơn được sử dụng trong việc xác định độ bền của màng sơn trong thực tế sử dụng trên các bề mặt, trong quá trình sử dụng và kiểm tra chất lượng sản phẩm ngành sơn.

- Để làm được điều đó, Máy kiểm tra trầy xước màng sơn được thiết kế sao cho có thể giả lập điều kiện va chạm trên thực tế với lớp màng sơn. Ở đây là tạo sự chầy xước thông qua một đầu kiểm tra có khối lượng xác định và kích thước xác định

- Đầu kiểm tra này sẽ chà xước lên bề mặt của màng sơn với một vận tốc xác định trước, qua đó có thể xác định được khả năng bền của lớp màng sơn với quá trình kiểm tra này.

- Biuged dựa vào tiêu chuẩn tương đối của Trung Quốc trên cơ sở ISO1518, và phát triển các thử nghiệm độ trầy xước của BGD 520 phù hợp với ISO1518: 2011. Tiêu chuẩn sử dụng: BS 3900, E2, ISO 1518,E17/ISO 12137-1.N.B, ASTM D5178, D2197.

+ Máy kiểm tra độ trầy xước màng sơn có bàn đựng mẫu lớn, có thể di chuyển từ trái sang phải và thuận tiện để đo các vùng khác nhau trong cùng một bảng điều khiển.

+ Máy cố định được mẫu , có thể đo được trên nhiều mẫu có kích thước khác nhau.

+ Hệ thống âm thanh báo động nếu mẫu bị thủng qua bảng mẫu.

+ Bút thử có độ cứng cao và bền hơn.
